Wake Surfing

A shorter, finless-feeling board and no rope once you're up — the boat idles along and you ride directly in the pocket of the wake right off the back, closer to ocean surfing than towed sports.

  • Smoother, slower ride than wakeboarding
  • Easy to pick up after the first few tries
  • Same boat, same captain, same session if you want to try both

Where We Run

Alta Lake — Whistler's home water.

Alta Lake sits right in the Whistler townsite, with a public boat launch and calm, mountain-ringed water that's about as good as wakeboarding conditions get in the Sea to Sky.

Our usual spot — public launch, easy access, and glassy morning water most of the summer with the Whistler and Blackcomb peaks as a backdrop.

Green Lake

A nearby alternative depending on conditions and access. Ask when you inquire if you'd rather try this one.

Best Time Of Day

Early morning, before the wind picks up — the calmest water makes for the smoothest wake and the easiest time getting up on the board.

Season

Summer. This is a lake-trailered service, so sessions need to be scheduled in advance rather than booked instantly online.
